Abstract | This study on the health aspects of waste collection and recycling was conducted in India, and is a follow-up on a literature study done on the same subject, published as Working Document 4, part I. The Indian study gives an overview of Indian legislation, discusses possible health effects related to waste recycling, dedicates a couple of pages to child labour and the clear need for awareness raising and the improvement of working conditions. |
