Abstract

This briefing note presents WASHCost Ghana findings on water services accessed by users in small towns and rural communities in Ghana, comparing actual delivery against what had been projected. The findings are based on household interviews  in Ghana’s three main agro-ecological zones, which revealed the different types and levels of service received by rural water users. In conclusion, the report found that people’s access to services do not always meet planner's projections.
