Abstract

The specific objectives of the 2009 Baseline and Monitoring report for West Nile WASH Accountability project were:

  1. To determine indicators of improvement on perception, attitude, practice and appreciation of accountability and good governance in WASH services that would guide the baseline (before 2009) and the monitoring of present and future situations
  2. To establish the past (before 2009) and present perceptions and attitudes on WASH accountability and good governance of stakeholders in the study sample
  3. To establish the past (before year 2009) and present practices and methods on WASH accountability and good governance of stakeholders in selected areas for the study
  4. To establish appreciation of the dialogue processes on accountability and Action Research among stakeholders.
