IRC Event: The limits of aid, the future of trade?

Save the date for the 3rd IRC event

What is the role for NGOs and private sector within the government’s Aid and Trade agenda? This event will be co- hosted by DGIS and supported by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). It will focus on the implications of the Aid and Trade Agenda for development cooperation in the WASH sector. The aim is to get to grips with the effects of this agenda for the different actors in the WASH sector. 

About the event

When: 17th September, 5 - 7:30 PM followed by drinks. 
Where: At the venue 7AM (Buitenhof 47, 2513 AH Den Haag)

Join us and participate in the discussion around the role for NGOs and private sector within the Dutch Government's Aid and Trade agenda; and network with various people from NGOs/government/academia and private sector afterwards over drinks. 

Keynote speakers and pre-read 

Moderated by Paul van Koppen, there will be a brief introduction to the topic by key presenters; this will be followed by a cross-fire debate with participation of prominent policy makers at DGIS and representatives of both the NGO and private sector.
