Abstract

Rural pipe water schemes, popularly known as small town water schemes, are associated with a wide range of capital expenditure. However there continues to be limited understanding on the possible key cost drivers of such systems. In this briefing note, WASHCost Ghana identifies some of the major cost drivers of capital expenditure based on a study of 39 small towns pipe water schemes in Ghana.
