We are happy to announce that we are launching a remastered course on Market-Based Sanitation! This new course will replace the version already available on our online platform, but participants will still be able to access the previous version for the next three months [up until September 2023]. With feedback from users and experts, we have smoothened the overall flow of the course to improve user experience and learning. What’s more? The course is now available in French!

This 16-hour course gathers key theoretical concepts and practical examples in the application of Market-Based Sanitation interventions across the world.

In this course, Market-Based Sanitation refers to strengthening the private sector in delivering products and services for the construction of improved onsite sanitation facilities and increasing the willingness of end users to invest in the construction, upgrade, and/or maintenance of a toilet.

Course objectives:

By the end of the training, you will have a good understanding of the role of Market-Based Sanitation as part of strong water and sanitation systems needed to realize universal and sustainable sanitation services.

You will know:
